About

Born in Milan in 1976, Michele Redaelli is a painter currently living and working in Italy, in a small village in the hills of Tuscany near the sea, close to the art city of Pietrasanta.

After working in the world of TV advertising, in 2008 he moved to Florence, where he began painting and developed a deeper passion for art. In 2019, he decided to quit his job to fully dedicate himself to his artistic research. He spent a few years between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, following his interest in surfing.

His work ranges freely between illustration, comics, and figurative painting, aiming to merge his love for line and form with his fascination for color and abstraction. He continually experiments with techniques and materials, creating colorful and playful worlds with the aim of bringing a bit of lightness to a society that seems increasingly overwhelmed by human folly. In his large canvases, human figures—simplified and stylized—are immersed in backgrounds that generate dreamlike atmospheres, evoking abstract worlds.

Michele has exhibited in France, Italy, and Portugal.
